Starbucks Gold Coast is a blend of Latin American Coffee specifically from Guatemala and Asia Pacific Coffee from Sulawesi with accent of Italian Roast. This coffee offers a full-bodied cup with low acidity and very complex flavor.

Starbucks Gold Coast Blend was offered in 1987 when Starbucks opened its first store in Chicago (first market outside Seattle). Drinking Starbucks Gold Coast Blend is like listening to jazz music; the full body of the coffee is similar to the "boom" of the bass, while the acidity is similar to the improvisation being done by the keyboardist. Jazz is not a result of choosing a tune but an ideal that is first created in the mind inspired by one's passion and played in a syncopated rhythms and minor chord voicing characteristics which gives us a complex music that is soothing to the ear. This is similar to Starbucks Gold Coast Blend, a complex coffee with full body and low acidity but still soothing to the taste bud.

To make your coffee drinking more wonderful, you can pair Starbucks Gold Coast Blend with cheesecake, maple and chocolate.

Sumatra Mandheling is an extra bold, Asia Pacific coffee with full body. It has unique hints of pepper and fruits with low acidity and mild juicy finish. This semi-washed coffee is best paired with oatmeal and cheese.
This coffee is a composition of the finest hand-sorted Arabica coffee beans from several remote communities around lake Tawar, located in the highlands of Central Aceh in Sumatra. The fetile soil and prolonged dry and rainy periods produce beans that yield distinct taste nuances and when combined, create a taste all its own.
Mandheling is actually a trade name used for Arabica coffee from Northern Sumatra. It was derived from the name of the Mandaling people, who produce coffee in the Tapanuli Region of Sumatra.

STARBUCKS KAPE VINTA BLEND is an earthy, full-bodied and smooth coffee that is roasted to perfection. Every sip is a delightful experience that pleases the senses. The discovery begins with a thick, syrupy mouthfeel.... and ends with a lingering hint of spiciness.
The Starbucks Kape Vinta Blend celebrates the marriage of coffee and culture. This exclusive blend was introduced in 1997; the same year that the first store in the Philippines opened at 6750 Ayala Makati. It is a bold combination of Philippines (particularly South Cotabato and Benguet) and Indonesian coffees with a great personality that captures the spirit and character of the tradition of the Philippines.
Mr Mauro "Malang" Santos created the coffee stamp which evoke excitement that both Starbucks and the Philippines share for great coffee and great people. With every cup of kape VInta Blend, the splendor of the culture of the Philippines lives on.
